No one gets bored here.
Our clinic is open for scheduled treatments and walk-ins Monday through Friday. We also do home visits on as as-needed basis when resources are available.
If we're not seeing patients, we're often farming. We rent land to grow food for patients and their families, as well as medicinal herbs that grow in our climate.
Many plants cannot grow in our area, so we source from our Masai partners in the more arid regions of Kenya.
Visits with the Masai include exchange of herbs, sharing meals, and teaching programs. We're proud of our growing symbiotic relationship and the respect on which it's built. At Mizizi, the belief is that there is a time for both (i.e. modern and traditional medicine).
